Dua Lulusan MTsN 1 Diterima di MBI
SEMARANG- Dua
lulusan siswi Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Semarang berhasil
meraih beasiswa belajar di madrasah bertaraf internasional (MBI) MAN
Insan Cendekia, Gorontalo TA 2010/2011. Keduanya adalah Arofah Khorul
Ummah warga Kuripan Demak dan Giga rahmah warga Sendang mulyo semarang.
’’Se-Jateng yang mendaftar di madrasah bertaraf internasional banyak dan untuk pendaftar secara nasional 3191 , dua di antaranya siswi kami. Total siswa yang diterima
di MBI itu sebanyak 240 anak,’’ untuk MAN IC Serpong dan MAN IC Gorontalo kata Kepala MTsN 1 Semarang, Drs
Amiruddin Aziz.
Menurutnya, selama mengikuti pembelajaran,
baik biaya pendidikan, asrama maupun makan sekitar Rp 5 juta per bulan
itu ditanggung Depag.
’’Di Indonesia hanya ada dua madrasah
bertaraf internasional, yakni Gorontalo dan Serpong. Untuk bisa masuk
sekolah tersebut harus melalui seleksi tingkat nasional dan seperti
tahun lalu MTs N 1 Semarang juga dapat meloloskan dua siswa dari 4
pendaftar yang berminat,’’ jelasnya.
Dijelaskannya, kelebihan
belajar di MBI itu alumninya untuk peringkat 1-10 mendapatkan beasiswa
kuliah ke luar negeri, sedangkan lainnya banyak diterima di perguruan
tinggi ternama di Indonesia. ’’Selain itu, lulusan sekolah kami juga
ada yang diterima di sekolah bertaraf internasional (SBI) di
Semarang,’’ ungkapnya.
